Engagement Party

My Our engagement party was one of the greatest nights of my life. Obviously, the actual engagement ranks higher. Dave and I celebrated with about 70 guests at Le Parker Meridien’s Estrela penthouse; the views of Central Park and the Manhattan Skyline made for a beautiful night. The party concluded at 11, so we changed to meet our bridal party and other friends who had traveled from Boston for the after party. We took our fun/weirdness to Hudson Common and everyone survived!

Planning this party was like planning a mini wedding and the key to its success was my mother. She was on point with checking out the venue, booking the vendors, and finding my dress. It was like a boot camp for the real thing. All her hard work was evident from the moment we entered the room. Our wedding is about 10 months away, which is super exciting and a little overwhelming, but I’m just really lucky that I have someone to keep me on track with all of the planning. And to tell me to stop being a Bridezilla.

Here are some of my favorite moments from our party.
